== Dreamcast (cancelled) ==

A Sega Dreamcast version was announced, planned for release in May 2000. Sega themselves were handling porting duties, and online multiplayer was supported. It was cancelled around August 2000.

According to user pcwzrd13 on the dreamcast-talk.com forums, the state of the game at cancellation was described by a developer as: "It was rendering at a good frame rate but no ai or gameplay. Also the controls weren’t remotely figured out."<ref>https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15595</ref>

== Dreamcast (cancelled) ==

A Sega Dreamcast version was announced, planned for release in May 2000. Sega themselves were handling porting duties, and online multiplayer was supported. It was cancelled around August 2000.

According to user pcwzrd13 on the dreamcast-talk.com forums, the state of the game at cancellation was described by a developer as: "It was rendering at a good frame rate but no ai or gameplay. Also the controls weren’t remotely figured out."<ref>https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15595</ref>

== Dreamcast (cancelled) ==

A Sega Dreamcast version was announced, planned for release in May 2000. Sega themselves were handling porting duties, and online multiplayer was supported. It was cancelled around August 2000.

According to user pcwzrd13 on the dreamcast-talk.com forums, the state of the game at cancellation was described by a developer as: "It was rendering at a good frame rate but no ai or gameplay. Also the controls weren’t remotely figured out."<ref>https://www.dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15595</ref>

Though never officially announced, a PS1 version was in development. Interplay chose Runecraft, based in Yorkshire, UK, to develop the port.

An incomplete but fully playable build, dated 4th October 2000, was released by Hidden Palace in 2009.

MorgueFile: adding five new platforms added to IGDB since the initial data load a year ago (including Switch 2)

Rather than having to type out the name of each platform in a game page's infobox, there are a large number of templates you can use instead. Using these templates means machines can be named in a standardised way across the wiki (and universally renamed), and has the significant added benefit of adding the game page to an appropriate category page.

This list of platforms and template names is derived from the platform dataset used by [https://www.igdb.com/ IGDB], with some minor alterations. The list should cover nearly all platforms, including many obscure ones, but if a platform is missing or ambiguous, please leave a message on the talk page.
