Elimination was a 1973 release by Kee Games. Though based on the technology and model of Pong, Elimination created a new, self-named game style which was imitated by other games in the future.
The four sides of the play area represent goal zones. Depending on the number of players, two or four, the sides of the square for each opponent will have a slot open up and serve as the goal. Landing the ball into another player's goal will cause them to lose one of a number of markers, denoted beside each goal. When the player runs out of markers, they are eliminated from the game and their goal side will close up as a stationary wall. The last player left standing wins the game.
