Maneater was a game released by Project Support Engineering in 1975. Taking on the role of divers in shark-infested waters, participants must dive towards the bottom of the screen to pick up an object and carry it back to the surface of the ocean without getting eaten by the shark. Each player controls a diver with a single joystick while the computer controls the shar.
Though released in traditional upright and cocktail table formats, the game became especially notable for its unique fiberglass cabinet featuring the larger than life head of a shark with gaping, bloody maw wide open.
