Issue with template width & a potential upgrade[edit]
I have two disparate things to say about this template:
- The alert box will not only invariably extend its width to take up as much space as possible, but it will overlap any other element on the page (like the table of contents or game infobox). Here's an example. I looked into trying to fix this myself (at least provisionally), but it seems like doing so would require editing the CSS, which I don't think I have access to on this wiki. I'm not asking for administrative access or anything; I just wanted to bring the issue up in case you weren't aware. (If you were, then apologies for the redundancy.)
- I tested out a way of adding an optional reason to the template, allowing people to explain what exactly needs to be finished in the section at hand. (I also created a small explanation for how to use it, as seen here.) It's a fairly simple change, but I wanted to ask if it was alright to actually change it. (I know this may be unnecessary, but I really didn't want to step on anyone's toes here.)
(One more thing: all of the external images here were taken from edits I previewed but did not actually save, done for the sake of illustrating my points.)
