Nolan Kay Bushnell is an American business entrepreneur, most famous for co-founding the company Atari Inc. with Ted Dabney. Born in Clearfield, Utah, Bushnell became closely associated with the business growth of Silicon Valley once Atari Inc. became a highly successful company.
Bushnell initially moved to California in 1968 to work at Ampex Corporation and after playing the seminal computer game Spacewar! sought to commercialize it with his co-creation Computer Space. With Atari Inc. and its first game Pong, Bushnell became a business celebrity
