Klonoa Will Fly in July[edit]
Namco's sequel for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system is given a North American release date
San Jose, September 26, 2000 - Namco Hometek Inc. has announced a release date for the sequel to their critically acclaimed platform game. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil is now scheduled for release in North America in July of 2001. Many have been anxiously awaiting the return of Klonoa and many more will experience the fun and excitement that this title will bring to the PlayStation®2. This new adventure takes Klonoa through the world of Lunatea, an enchanted realm that is divided into separate Kingdoms. Each Kingdom has its own unique characteristics and is maintained by the magical powers of their respective Bell Tower. Everything within the world of Lunatea is balanced by these Bell Towers. Unfortunately, there has been one Kingdom, one Bell Tower, forgotten. This dark Kingdom is now threatening to unbalance the co-existence of Lunatea. It's up to Klonoa, with the help of his new friends, to jump, fly, and hover-board his way through this perilous journey and maintain peace. Employing a new illustration technique, known as "Klonoa Filter", and adding new control elements with dynamic camera action, this Action/Adventure platform title, one of the first for the PlayStation®2, will be an instant favorite to gamers everywhere.
