Tekken it to the Streets[edit]

The premier fighting franchise goes portable in the U.S. on the Game Boy® Advance

San Jose, August 23, 2001 - Namco Hometek Inc. will be bringing the biggest, baddest bruiser of them all, Tekken, to the world of portable gaming for the first time ever. Renowned for it's intuitive game play, cutting-edge graphics and vicious combo-system, this new Tekken will be the embodiment of everything that fans have come to love about the series.

Tekken Advance (tentative) will feature at least 10 of the most popular fighters, including Jin Kazama, Yoshimitsu, Nina Williams and Paul Phoenix. Modes included will be Arcade, Team battle, and a 2-Player link mode for head to head portable competition. The release date for this slugfest is still to be determined.
