Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time is a beat-'em-up based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise (specifically the 1987 cartoon). The successor to Konami's 1989 arcade game, it was converted to the SNES under the title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (to match the numbering introduced in its predecessor's NES home port and continued by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project). In Europe, the game is called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: Turtles in Time (reflecting a change made to the entire franchise's name, owing to a stigma against ninja in the UK and other countries).

The Sega Genesis game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist is largely based on Turtles in Time, though it is different enough that it cannot be called a conversion.
