Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil is the sequel to Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001.

- IGN reports on allegations that Namco will convert more of their games for the GameCube, including Klonoa 2 (September 18, 2001)
- GameSpy claims the game will receive a somewhat enhanced GameCube conversion, something which never came to pass (January 16, 2002)
